Ray Wallace

December 28, 1925 — February 1, 2011

Ray Wallace, 85, of Paducah passed away at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Wallace was a Metallographer for Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Martha L. Wallace of Paducah; his son, Richard “Ricky” Anthony Wallace of Oak Ridge, TN; stepsons Randy (Diane) Wiersma of Paducah KY and Keith (Margherita) Wiersma of Sandwich IL; stepdaughters Carol (Reggie) Fields of Paducah and Joyce (Jerry) Ikemire of Sandwich, IL; brothers Jim (Barbara) Wallace of Cincinnati OH, Joe (Kathleen) Wallace of Andersonville, TN, and Kenneth ”Reece” (Christine) Wallace of Heiskell TN; sisters Anna Lou Schuster of La Porte, IN, Dorothy Beck of Grand Junction CO, Barbara (Paul) Borden Scottsboro, AL, Mary Thomas of Knoxville, TN, and Jane (Maynard) Lowery of Andersonville, TN; two grandchildren, 16 step grandchildren, one great grandchild, and ten step great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marmie and Myrtle Foush Wallace and two sons, Ray “Randy” Miller Wallace Jr. and Steven Lawrence Wallace.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM Saturday at Friendship Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions of sympathy may be made Friendship Baptist Church
146 South Friendship Road, Paducah KY 42003-5737.
