Reinhilde "Sonni" Steger

Reinhilde “Sonni” Steger, 72 of Colorado Springs, CO passed away on September 25 , 2013 in Colorado Springs.
She was a retired child caregiver for the US Army and an American Red Cross volunteer. A native of Germany, she became a US citizen in 1988.
Surviving are her husband, Danny Steger of Colorado Springs; two daughters, Martina Sonnenberg and Michaela Jacobi, both of Berlin, Germany; and Mothers-in-law Charlotte Tibbs of Paducah and Lois Steger of West Paducah.
Mrs. Steger was preceded in death by her parents, Georg Herbert Peschke and Anna Marie Elise Lay.
Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Saturday at Mount Zion Cemetery, with the Rev. Tim Smith officiating.
