Rex Edward Taylor

Rex Edward Taylor, age 86, passed away on August 18th, 2021, in Paducah, KY. Rex served in the United States Navy, and was a member of First Methodist Church in Assumption, IL. In his life, he was a retired teacher who taught in both Massac and McCracken County. In his spare time, Rex enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, and taking long walks.

Rex is survived by his wife, Donna Rose Taylor; his daughter, Laurie Fincher; his stepdaughter, Lisa Brooks; three grandchildren, Austin Fincher, Leah Fincher, and Brooke Clanton; two great grandchildren, Luke Clanton, and Gentry Clanton; his sister, Vickie DeSeirsy; his sister-in-law, Joanne Jones; his niece, Devon Wilke; and his nephew, Jeff Higgins.

Rex is preceded in death by his parents, Harlan and Dorothy Taylor, and is also preceded by one sister.

Services for Rex Edward Taylor will be held at a later date.
