Richard Edward Ball

Richard Edward Ball, 68, of West Paducah died at 3:05 p.m. Monday at his home.

Mr. Ball was a retired truck driver and a former river pilot.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth Ball; three sons, James Ball of Madison, Wis., Kenneth Ball of Graves County and Troy Ball of Kevil; one daughter, Melinda Maulding of Graves County; one brother, Thurman Ball of Birmingham, Ala.; one sister, Johnny Kay of Batesville, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Eric Ball, and several brothers and sisters. His parents were Elisha and Pearl Ball.

Services will be at noon Thursday at Lindsey Funeral Home. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
