Richard Merchant

Richard “Rick” Merchant, 57. Of Paducah passed away Tuesday November 18th, 2014 at Baptist Health of Paducah. He was employed by Fleming Furniture of Paducah.
He is survived by his wife, Carol DiCostanzo Merchant; His father, J.T. Merchant of Paducah; one son, Guy J. Kolar of Yorkville, IL.; two daughters, Sherida Williams of Boaz and Samantha Kolar-Lee of Plano, IL.; two brothers, Joe Merchant of Paducah and Kenny Merchant of Ottawa, ILL.; two sisters, Anna Williamson of Paducah and Cheryl Staton of Joppa, IL.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Boland Merchant; and one sister, Linda Merchant.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday November 22nd, 2014 at Pilgrim Baptist Church of Paducah located at 1520 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. at 1pm with the Rev. Henrietta Owens officiating.
Lindsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
