Robert William Gibb

Robert “Bob” Gibb Sr, 76, of Paducah, KY formerly of Danbury, Connecticut passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at his residence with his family by his side.

Bob was born on October 17, 1947, to the late William Gibb and Aline Chassard Gibb in Yonkers, NY. Bob started working for the City of Danbury Highway Department in 1978. He retired from the highway department after 28 years of service and moved to Paducah, KY. He was a member of Broadway Church of Christ where he was very involved. He was affectionately known as “Gibby.” He enjoyed photography and loved to garden, taking much pride in his tomato plants.

Surviving is his wife of 33 years, Cathy Gibb of Paducah; three children, Robert (Karen) Gibb Jr., Tracey Gibb, and Allison Gibb all of Connecticut; and two grandchildren, Brandon Gibb and Jeremy Gibb.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Broadway Church of Christ.

Friends may visit the family from 11:00am to service hour on Saturday at the church
