Robert Benjamin Hogan

Robert Benjamin Hogan, 92 of Brookport, died at 5 a.m.Wednesday February 21, 2018 at Lourdes Hospital.

He was born in Pope County, Illinois on June 7, 1925, to Jacob Newell Hogan and Clara Sidener Hogan.

He was a farmer in his younger years and worked at Paducah Marine Ways.

Corporal Hogan was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1949

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alma Scott Hogan and his second wife, Lawanda Roberts Hogan.  He also was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Surviving is a stepson, James Michael Little, and one stepdaughter, Donna Griffin York.  And a special person in his life, Billy York

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Pell Cemetery in Brookport, Illinois.

Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
