Robert Stringer

Robert A. Stringer, 74, of Paducah passed away peacefully on Sunday April 26, 2015 at his home.
Mr. Stringer was retired from USEC after 28 years of service; then worked 10 years for WPSD. He also served in the US Air force and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving is his wife of 46 years, Brenda Stringer; two daughters, Michelle Wyatt of Paducah, Robin Walker of Paducah; one son, Neil Stringer of Paducah; one sister Cynthia Darlene Pierce of Salem; seven grandchildren, Jacob Sharer, Austin Sharer, Chase Byrum, Blake Byrum,, Kara Donnelly, Lindsey Sharer, Kirsten Stringer; three great-grandchildren, Evangeline Byrum, MacKenzie Byrum, Charley Byrum; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Stringer and Kenneth Stringer. His parents were Ogie Stringer and Alberta (Powell) Stringer.
Graveside services will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday at Mt. Kenton Cemetery with the Rev. Terry Sills officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday evening and 10:00am to 12:00pm on Wednesday at Lindsey Funeral Home.
