Robert "Bob" Williams

Robert “Bob” Williams, 77, of Brookport, Illinois, passed away Saturday August 24, 2019 at  CLC at Marion VA.

Bob is survived by one son, Shawn Williams and one daughter, Paige Williams.  One step-daughter Janet Williams and step-granddaughter Tori Stokes.  One sister, Judy Kommer and one brother Ronnie (Brenda) Williams.  One sister-in-law, Martha Williams.  Three great grand kids and several nieces and nephews.  And many many friends and his faithful loving dog “Ginger”

Bob was an Vietnam Veteran in the Army and a E7 who served his country for 14 years.  After serving in the army, Bob became a millwright.  Bob loved working on old cars.  His prize car was his 52 Chevy he restored, “1 part at a time”.  Bob held a special bond with his family, always loved family get together and always enjoyed and cherished each and every celebration.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife Linda, and parents Wayne & Marie McCandless Williams.  One son Derek Williams.  Three brothers, Maurice, Donnie, and Danny Williams.  One brother-in-law, Lyndell Kommer.

A celebration of life service will be scheduled at later date.
