Robyn Leigh (Eubanks) Keesee

Robyn Leigh Keesee (Eubanks), 55, of Paducah, KY passed away on August 12, 2021, in Mounds, IL.  Robyn was born May 15, 1966, in Rockford, IL.  She was a high school graduate of Symsonia High School in Graves County.  Following high school, Robyn served in the United States Air Force and later earned a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Teaching.  She dedicated her teaching career to working with children with developmental disabilities.  Robyn found joy and satisfaction in her work and there was nothing she wanted to do more than to improve a child’s quality of life.  She was kind, compassionate, and caring.  She gave and did more for others than she ever asked for in return.

Robyn is survived by her children, Stephanie Gordon and Glenn Keesee; parents, Stephanie and Terrell Mathis and Thurman (Bud) and Mary Donna Eubanks; brothers, James Eubanks, Ryan Eubanks, Chad Wiley, and Michael Mathis; and sisters, Cher (Eubanks) Youngblood, Mitzi Morphew, and Christy Mathis.  Along with several nieces and nephews that will miss her greatly.

She was  preceded in death by her grandparents, Lee and Barbara Jones and Opal Eubanks Brown.

Memorial services will be at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Clyde Mott officiating.  Friends may visit the family from 12:00pm until the service hour at the funeral home.
