Roger Dale McNeill

It is with great sadness that the family and friends of Roger Dale "Ace" McNeill announce his passing at the age of 72, on November 25th, 2024. He passed peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones and is now at rest. He was a loving husband , father, grandfather, and friend who will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure to know him. 

 Dale was born on Dec 14, 1951 to Willard and Mary McNeill as one of eight siblings. He lived his life in Paducah Kentucky and built a life he was proud of. He worked hard and seeing the value of working with his hands and accomplishing something he could see. When he wasn't hard at work, he loved spending his free time hunting, fishing, and most of all, singing sad old songs with his friends any chance he got. 

 He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 40 years, Wendy McNeill, his four sisters Sue Jetton, Carolyn Lewis, Fay Kelly, and Donna Daniels, his three children Melissa (Steve)Dick, Timothy McNeill, Reuben (Susan)McNeill, his grandchildren, Allyson Dick, Ashley (Martin) Jackson, Tyler, Dustin, Gage, and Dakota McNeill, and his three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Carl, Ed, and Randy McNeill as well as his great granddaughter Scarlett Faith Tyler. 

 We will miss him every day. 

Friends may visit the family from 2pm until 4pm on Friday, December 6th, 2024 at Lindsey Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 4pm immediately following the visitation. 

The family politely requests that no gifts or flowers be sent to the service and instead ask that they please direct those funds to the Annual Toy Run held in Paducah KY to benefit Toys for Tots, or a charity of their choosing.
