Ron Simpson

Ron Simpson, 65, of Paducah, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 27th, 2016 at his home with his family. Ron was a dear loving husband of 40 years to Anita, his spouse. Ron loved playing the violin. Ron also loved ministering to others, always reaching out to people in need and was always there with words of wisdom and great faith. He attended Gospel Assembly Church where he was surrounded by overwhelming love and compassion. Ron was also a heat and air tech for Paducah Heating and Air.

He is survived by his wife, Anita; daughter, Alicia and his favorite son in law, Chad Hunt, son, James Simpson, and daughter, Christy Simpson; nine siblings, Rick Simpson, Mary Jo Clark, Debbie Simpson, Kathy Simpson, Melissa Brown, Terry Simpson, Laurie Simpson, Wendy Simpson, all of Michigan, and Sue Formenti of California; brother in law, David Wilson; grandchildren, Steele and Lydia Hunt; mother and father in law, Norma Jean and Gene Driver; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his parents, Roland L. and Joann Mildred Simpson; and father in law, Paul Wilson.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday, July 2nd, 2016 from 2pm until the service hour at Gospel Assembly Church on 21st and Ohio Streets. Services will begin at 3pm on Saturday with Pastor Mike Hunt and Senior Pastor Encil Edmonds officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the family thru Gospel Assembly Church on 21st and Ohio streets in Paducah.
