Rozendo "Rozi" Aguilar

Rozendo “Rozi” Aguilar, 76, of Metropolis, died Sunday Morning, October 16th, 2016 at his home.
Rozi was a retired factory worker and attended St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church of Metropolis.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; four sons, Carl Staples of Montgomery, IL., Steven Staples of Crystal Lake, IL., James Staples of Wheaton IL., and Jerald Staples of Schaumburg, IL.; one daughter, Donna Mason of Metropolis, IL.; three brothers, Donald Aguilar of North Aurora, IL., Raymond Aguilar of Aurora, IL., and Ralph Aguilar of Carol Stream, IL.; one sister, Della Eno of Aurora, IL.; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and one sister.
A Funeral Mass will be scheduled at a later date at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church of Metropolis.
Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
