Ruth B. (Mathena) Cooksey
January 30, 1925 — August 22, 2017
Ruth Cooksey, 92, of Kevil, KY., died Tuesday morning, August 22nd, 2017 at her home. Ruth was a member of Christ Community Church of West Paducah, and a lifelong homemaker.
Ruth is survived by three children, Connie Hudson of West Paducah, Tony Cooksey of Paducah, and Jackie Vaughn of Kevil; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Cooksey; and her parents, Harley and Helen Barnett Mathena.
Friends may visit the family on Thursday, August 24th, 2017 at Lindsey Funeral Home from 11am until 1pm. Funeral services will start at 1pm after visitation with Rev. Tim Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Brooks Cemetery in Paducah.
