Sam Love has gone home, rejoice as his suffering is gone. He passed away Monday, December 2 at the Anna Mae Owen Hospice House in Murray.
Sam retired from TVA, ran a machine shop, built a home, repaired houses, and ran a mulching business. His biggest project was a golf course in this back yard until his illness forced him to stop. He also enjoyed the soft-spoken Bob Ross and lived his life in the same way.
Uncle Junior, as his nieces and nephews called him, has gone home to be with his first wife Dorothy, his second wife Iva, his daughter Sandy Kineman, as well as sisters and a brother.
He is survived by his sisters, Frankie Jones and Ruby Wills; one son, Terry Love; one son-in-law, Mike Kineman; three grandchildren, Misty, Chad, and Kyle; four great-grandchildren, Anna, Kyla, Terra, and Ty; as well as extended family.
A memorial service for Sam will be held Saturday, December 14 at 1 pm at Lindsey Funeral Home. No graveside services or visitation will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Spring Creek Health Care located at 1401 S. 16th street in Murray, or to Anna May Owen Residential Hospice House located at 1959 St. Rt. 94 West in Murray.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Anna Mae Owen Hospice House for their kindness and compassion during his transition.
