Sarah Edith (Livingston) Ragsdale

Sarah Edith (Livingston) Ragsdale, formerly of Tinley Park, IL, more recently of Paducah, KY, died peacefully at Stone Creek Nursing Home on July 4, 2018 in Paducah, KY at the age of 77.

Edith is survived by her daughter, April (Craig) Holup of Tinley Park, IL and Alice (Thomas Royse) of Paducah, KY. She will also be fondly remembered by her brother, Clyde Livingston; sisters; Louise Borders and Mini Albright; her seven grandchildren, Robert, Angela, Jessica, Sarah, Emily, Amber, Cody; six great-grandchildren, Kayla, Nevaeh, Jhadon, Laila, Elsie, and Corbin; many nieces and nephews; and fond friend, Harry Ottway.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Maggie Livingston, her husband, Joe Ragsdale in 2008, her son, Christopher Ragsdale, in 1994, and several siblings.

Edith was born on August 17, 1940 in Pinckneyville, IL to Floyd and Maggie Livingston. She faithfully worshiped at Sharpe church of Christ. She married Joe Ragsdale in 1963.

Friends may visit the family from 5:00pm - 8:00pm on Friday July 6, 2018 or from 10:00am to 11:00am on Saturday July 7, 2018 at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be at 11:00am on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Bro.. Larry Nesler officiating. Burial will be at a later date under the direction of Forsythe-Gould Funeral Home in Manhattan, IL.
