Sarita (Parrilla) McClure

Sarita Pirrilla McClure, 63, of Paducah, passed away on Tuesday, August 1st, 2017 at Westport Care Center in Louisville, KY. Sarita was a retired Spanish teacher for Tilghman High School in Paducah, and attended Southland Baptist Temple.

Sarita graduated from Murray State University and earned an advanced Spanish degree from Western Kentucky University.  She enjoyed the arts, traveling, cooking Spanish food and especially drinking coffee.

Sarita is survived by her husband of 42 years, Ronnie; three children, Derek McClure of Orlando, FL., Lindsey (Stephen) Jones of New Salisbury, IND., and Justin Tyler McClure of Paducah; three siblings, Carmen Luz, Sabino Parrilla, and Hector Parrilla; one brother in law, Scott (DeAnna) McClure; three grandchildren, Kirsten McClure, and Mason and Sara Jones; twelve nieces and seven nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Delores Rivera Parrilla; and four siblings, Jose, Lolin, Beatriz, and Guiti Parrilla.
