Sheila Flancbaum

Sheila Flancbaum, 53, of Paducah passed away at 6:15 a.m. Friday morning at her home.

Miss Flancbaum was known by her friends as “a very hard worker” as she was employed at Kroger as a clerk for almost 30 years and was also employed at K-Mart for two years. She was of the Christian faith.

She is survived by her fiancé, William Edward Cumbee of Paducah; one stepdaughter, Richmond Hurleta “Leta” Blasdel of Paducah; one brother, Paul Flancbaum and his wife, Colleen of Michigan; two nieces and three nephews; one great-niece and two great-nephews; two cousins; two great-cousins; her loving 15-year-old poodle, Snuggles; and many friends.

Miss Flancbaum was preceded in death by her parents, Morldka “Mokky” and Jeanette “Janet” Lavinsky Flancbaum, and one sister, Judy Raye.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Roth Funeral Chapel with Brother Tommy Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Harris Cemetery in McCracken County.

Visitation for friends occurred Saturday evening at the funeral home between the hours of 6 and 9 p.m. Friends may also call from noon until the funeral hour Sunday at Roth Funeral Chapel.
