Steve Martin Mills

Steve Martin Mills, 67, of Paducah passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his wife.

Steve was an avid poker player, he loved to garden, fish, and hunt.  He also loved his flowers and his bird Max.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Martha Parrott Mills; two daughters, JoAnn (Todd) Burrows and Amy Mills all of Paducah; four grandchildren, Chelsea (Tony) Burrows, Ginny Burrows, Linzee Mills, and Brandon Garland all of Paducah; eight great-grandchildren, Madisyn Burrows, Kasen Vinyard, Kaylee Burrows, Keityn Vinyard, Eli Burrows, Nolan Burrows, Noah Burrows, and A’zaylee Pearson all of Paducah; two brothers, Jim (Susan) Mills  of Decatur, IL and Ronnie (Dianne) Mills of East Prairie, TX;   two sisters-in-law, Dorothy (Bobby) Morgan of Metropolis, IL and  Sue Olvera of Tuscola, IL; many nieces and nephews; and a longtime family friend, Kenneth Jett.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Mills; his mother, Lillyetta Frances Bottoms; two sisters, Mary Greve and Sue Cunningham; two brothers, Richard Mills and Donald Mills

Funeral services will be at 2:00pm on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Lindsey Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family from 12:00pm to the funeral hour on Sunday at the funeral home.
