Ted Stewart

Ted Stewart, 82, of Paducah went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 25, 2023 at Baptist Health in Paducah.

He was born on February 19, 1941 in Paducah, KY.  Ted lived in Paducah his whole life, going to Paducah Tilghman High School and working for Crounse Corporation for 43 years.  Ted was a Christian and loved his church, Free Spirit Biker Church.  Ted never let any animal he came in contact with go hungry.  He was an avid Kentucky wildcat fan no matter the sport.

He is survived by his bride of 62 years, Betty Stewart of Paducah; one daughter, Karen Stewart Clark of Paducah; one son, Greg (Summer) Stewart of Stanford, KY; one grandson Hunter (Jessica) Stewart of Georgetown, TX; one granddaughter, McKenzie Clark of Paducah; two sister – laws, Shirley Stewart and Nancy Stewart both of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Stewart and Arlen Howard; one sister, Emma Mae Stewart Green; three brothers, Thomas “Heavy” Stewart, Odie Stewart Jimmie “T’Bone” Stewart and Charles “Sweet Pea” Stewart.

Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday March 29, 2023 at Lindsey Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m.  with Bro. Dennis Lawrence officiating.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contribution to Free Spirit Biker Church, Paducah, KY.
