Thomas Lynn Anglin, 75 of Greenwood, IN, formerly of Paducah, KY, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 7, 2011.
Tom was born on May 27, 1935 in Tiline, KY. He served as a deacon at Rosebower Baptist Church, Southwood Baptist Church and New Whiteland Baptist Church. Tom loved his family and friends dearly. He loved serving the Lord, reading, gardening, and camping. He was a retired boilermaker at Amtrak and IC&G Railroads.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Lillian Lamb Anglin; his son, David Lynn (Deborah) Anglin; his daughter Teresa (William) Jane (Anglin) Keller; one granddaughter, Heather Renee Allen; one grandson, Philip Thomas Anglin; three sisters, Ann Scott, Jean Driskill, and Hazel Shreve; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Georgia Anglin, and baby son James Thomas Anglin.
Graveside services will be 3:00 pm Wednesday at Rosebower Church Cemetery, with Rev. Kenneth Puckett officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 pm 8:00 pm at Lindsey Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at New Whiteland Baptist Church (IN) on Saturday, May 14 at 5:00 PM.
