Thomas Russell Propes

Tom Propes, 72, of Martin, TN passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN.

Tom was formerly a mechanical engineer for Ingersoll-Rand and was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed woodworking and tinkering with anything mechanical.

Surviving is his wife of 21 years, Cindy Propes of Martin, TN; his four children, Troy (Lee) Propes of Charleston, SC, Travis (CC) Propes of Charleston, SC, Leigh (Justin) Nichols of Martin, TN, Andrea Crawford of Martin, TN; eight grandchildren, Addison, Karlee, Andrew, Raegan, Ryan, Hensleigh, Audri, and Ava.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Helen Propes; and one brother, Jimmy Propes.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
