Timothy Orman Brown born October 1, 1940, passed away peacefully on August 9th in Paducah, Kentucky at Barkley Center at the age of 75. He graduated from Lawrence High School in Fairfield, Maine in 1958. He graduated with a civil engineer degree from Rolla School of Mines in Rolla, Missouri in 1963. He owned his own engineering business for 10 years, had a partner for 10 years and then went in with a large engineering firm for 10 years, retiring in 2004.
Tim was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Paducah, Kentucky where he has lived for the past year. He loved fishing, farming, traveling, camping, reading, the Red Sox, his dogs and family most of all.
He is survived by his four children, Kimbalie Lawrence of Augusta, ME, Dana O. Brown of Lyman, ME. Scott C. (Dawn) Brown of Buxton, ME, Jason H. (Robin) Brown of Buxton, ME; two brothers, Eric R. (Debby) of Benton, ME, Mark R. (Connie) Brown of Northport, ME. His wife of 11 years, Karolyn Shelby Brown and son, Shelby (Brianna) Preklas of Paducah, KY; nine grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years and mother of his four children, Heather Ann Halkyard Brown; and his parents, Robert Orman and Katharine Rollins Brown, all of Maine.
A celebration of life memorial will be for the family at a later date in Maine.
