Timothy Palmer

Timothy Victor Palmer, 64, of Paducah died Sunday, January 12, 2014 at his home.
Mr. Palmer was retired from the USMC and had great pride in his country. He was a member of the Marine Corps Association and the DAV. He was also an avid UK fan and great poker player, but mostly a very proud father and grandfather.
He is survived by his son, Billy Palmer (Debbie) of Jackson, MO; daughter, Lisa Maikranz (Kenneth) of Haubstadt, IN; son-in-law, Del Pruitt of Paducah; sister, Jeri Palmer of Santa Monica, CA; twelve grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Victor Mac Palmer; his mother, Suzanne Lee Twyman; and one daughter, Angie Pruitt.
Services will be Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Lindsey Funeral Home with David Godfrey officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Paducah with Military Honors.
Visitation will be Friday, January 17, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
