Tyrus Curtis Johnson, 88, of Paducah, died Sunday evening October 12th at Baptist Health of Paducah. Mr. Johnson was army veteran of World War II, a retired self-employed mechanic and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by one daughter, Laura Diane Dunn of Paducah; four grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and thirteen great, great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dora Dean Johnson; and one sister, Olive.
Visitation will be Monday October 20th at Lindsey Funeral Home starting at 11am and going until the funeral hour. Funeral will be at 1pm following visitation with his grandson, Brother Brian Bowen officiating.
Lindsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
