Vera Thornberry

Vera Marie Thornberry, 79, of Paducah died on Tuesday August 12, 2014 at her residence.

Mrs. Thornberry was a retired nurse’s aid from Superior Care Center.

Surviving are two brothers, William LeRoy Hunt of Palace Heights, and Wilson Hawes of Paducah; one sister, Dianah Vibbert of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William E. Hunt and Reba J. Hunt.; two brothers; and one sister.

Funeral will be at 1:00pm on Friday at Lindsey Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Newton Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00pm – 8:00pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
