Vicki Mae (Owens) Hon

Vicki Mae (Owens) Hon, 65, of Paducah, died Monday, March 26, 2018 at her home, at 3:25 p.m.  She was born November 25, 1952, in Metropolis, Illinois, to her parents Troy Burton Owens and Ada Mae (King) Owens.

She lovingly cared for family, friends and strangers.  And she was a good neighbor to many.  Her pets always lived the good life, because of her love and attention.  She created absolutely beautiful flower gardens, which reflected her hard work ethic and appreciation for nature’s beauty.

She is survived by her son, Ryan Alan Bivin and wife Jocelyn Feliciano of Nashville, Tennessee; her daughter, Jessica Elizabeth (Haynes) Reed and husband Josh Reed of Paducah; two sisters, Marilyn Gallagher of Metropolis and Melisa (“Lisa”) Davidson of Ledbetter; three grandchildren, Jathen Reed and Khloe Reed of Paducah, and Cora Bivin of Nashville.

She was preceded in death by her parents Troy Burton Owens and Ada Mae (King) Owens.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday March 30, 2018, at Mt. Sterling Cemetery, across the road from Mt. Sterling Cumberland Presbyterian Church located at 1780 Mt Sterling Rd, Brookport, IL 62910.  Justin Wolfe will officiate.  All are welcome.
