Violet Marie Myrick
January 9, 1944 — December 1, 2016
Violet Myrick, 72, of Paducah passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2016 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
Mrs. Myrick formerly worked in the housekeeping department at Lourdes Hospital. She loved shopping and spending time with her family.
Surviving is one daughter, Tonie Myrick Schmitt of Paducah; one son, Barry Myrick of Calvert City; six grandchildren, Shane (Ashley) Faughn of Paducah, Amanda (Steven) Burnette of Evansville, IN, Cody (Brittany) Hammonds of Paducah, Hope Myrick of Amory, MS, Brittany (Zach) Myrick of Amory, MS, Kerri (Garrett) Westbrook of Amory, MS; and five great-grandchildren, Mady Hall of Amory, MS, Mark Faughn of Paducah, Aubree Hammonds of Paducah, Breanna Hammonds of Paducah, and Hudson Hammonds of Paducah.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Myrick; one son, Ricky Myrick; one daughter, Penny Myrick; and one sister, Edna Laws. Her parents were Floyd and Pauline Gipson
Memorial service will be at 6:00pm on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Davidson officiating.
Friends may call from 4:00pm to service hour on Saturday at the funeral home.
