Vivian Welch
July 14, 1929 — January 11, 2015
Vivian Neel Welch, 85, of Metropolis, passed away Sunday January 11th, 2015 at Metropolis Nursing and Rehab.
Mr. Welch was a retired Truck Driver and Mechanic for Kotter Ready Mix of Metropolis. He was an avid bird hunter and enjoyed tending to his yard.
He is survived by his wife, Ursula Welch of Metropolis; two sons, Jeffery (Lesa) Welch of Metropolis and Frank ( Pam) Welch of Newburgh, Indiana; one daughter, Deneal (Jeff) Bullock of Metropolis; one brother, Teddy (Verna)Welch of Metropolis; one sister, Irene Austin of Montreal, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Mandy Robbins, Jessica Jenkins, Sarah Welch, Travis Welch, Shauna Welch, Krista Clayton, Kortney Kennedy and Paul Spann; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mary Walters Welch; one sister, Joann Welch Hall; and one son, Jerry Welch.
Graveside services will be held Thursday January 15th, 2015 at Massac Memorial Gardens starting at 11am with Rev. David Wright officiating.
