Walter Barton Jr

Walter Emmitt Barton Jr., 73, of Paducah died on Saturday June 7, 2014 a Lourdes Hospital.
Mr. Barton was an iron worker for Local 369 and a member of the Masonic Lodge 449.
Surviving are his wife, Wanda Marie Meeks Barton; three sons, Walter Barton III of Paducah, Christopher Michael Barton of Paducah, and David Lee Barton of Paducah; one daughter, Cindy McKendren of Paducah; two brothers, Bart Barton and Lance Barton; one sister, Janice Fields; twelve grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Walter Barton Sr. and Minnie (Meixner) Barton; one son, Richard Dean Barton; two sisters, Sally Kurth and Sue Fields; and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 12:00pm on Wednesday at Lindsey Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 6:00pm 8:00pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. Masonic Rites will take place at 7:00pm.
