Walter Brooks Egolf Jr.

Walter Brooks Egolf, Jr., 69, of Clinton, KY died August 13, 2019, in
Mayfield, KY. He was born on August 20, 1949, to Walter Brooks and
Marjorie Janacek Egolf in Bowling Green, KY. He was preceded in death by
his wife, Suzanne Heathcock Egolf, whom he married September 6, 1996. In
his earlier and healthier years, Brooks enjoyed hunting, fishing, and
following the St. Louis Cardinals and UK Wildcats.

Brooks is survived by his beloved son, Jeffrey Brooks Egolf (Melissa) of
Maine; his stepchildren, Tanya Benson, Michelle Griffiths, and Allie
Leezer, and 8 step grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 sisters;
Sharon Meadows (Coy) Glasgow, KY and Karen Benock (Tom) Battletown, KY,
along with several nieces and nephews.

No visitation is planned and private graveside services will be held at
Crescent Hill Cemetery in Scottsville,KY.

The family expresses sincere gratitude to Larry Morehead for assuming the
role of caregiver for the past 2 years along with their many friends from
the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints who helped in so many ways
during his and his late wife's extended illnesses.
