Walter Taylor, Jr

Walter Sonny Taylor Jr., 68, of Paducah died Wednesday at Lourdes hospital.
Mr. Taylor was the retired owner of Taylor Variety Store.Surviving are his wife, Linda Taylor; his mother, Sally Taylor of Paducah; two sons, Richard Eidson of Paducah and Sgt. Robert Eidson, serving in Afghanistan; two daughters, Barbara Taylor Jones and Brenda Taylor, both of Paducah; two brothers, Charles Taylor of Conway, Alaska, and Barry Taylor of Dixon, Tenn.; two sisters, Judy Viera of Paducah and Nora Dawn Curtis of Cumberland Furnace, Tenn.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Taylor, and one son, Tracy Taylor.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lindsey Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mount Zion Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
