Warren Smith

Warren Smith, 87, of West Paducah, died Tuesday Morning, November 3rd, 2015 at McCracken Nursing and Rehab.
Warren was born February 22, 1928 to Denby and Grace Marie Wilkins Smith in West Paducah. He was a Heath High School class of 1946 graduate with honors. Warren worked at Essex Wire for 26 years, and was a farmer and raised cattle with his family.
He is survived by one sister, Wilma Smith Bivin of West Paducah; one niece, Madia Ann Webb of West Paducah; one great nephew, Tori Harris and wife Karen of Knoxville, Tn.; two great great nieces, Gillian and Morgan Harris of Knoxville, Tn.; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Calvin Smith.
Friends may visit the family on Thursday, November 5th, 2015 from 5 to 8pm at Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah. Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 6th, 2015 at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Grahamville starting at 1pm with Rev. Keith Tilford officiating.
Pallbearers will be Earl Wayne Davis, Dale Meyer, Lee Wayne Boldry, Gary Long, Linford Hammonds, and Patrick Boldry. The family requests that Donations may be made in his honor to the West McCracken Fire and Rescue Department.
