Wayne Arthur Smith, 75, of Paducah died December 10, 2009 at Lourdes Hospital.

He was a retired farmer. Smith was a U.S. Marine veteran who served in Korea.

Smith is survived by two daughters, Debbie Russell of Benton and Cindy Parrish of Middleburg, FL; two sons, Dwayne Smith of Loxahatchee, FL and Mike Smith of Paducah; two brothers, Jerald Smith of Gilbertsville and John Smith of Paducah; one sister, Beverly Cook of Paducah; one aunt; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Parker Smith, three sisters, and one brother.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Lindsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
