Wayne Threlkeld, 61 of Paducah passed away Tuesday at University of Louisville Hospital.
Mr. Threlkeld was a pipefitter for Westlake Chemical Plant for 39 years and a member of Rosebower Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley Threlkeld; his step-father, Fred Wilcox; two daughters, Tammy (Wes) Cooper of Hattiesburg, MS, Sharon (Mike) Stiff of Columbia, SC; two brothers, Gary (Cheryl) of Morris, IL, Freddie Wilcox of Gurnee, IL; one sister Vickie (Jeffrey) Rockel of Homer Glen, IL; two grandchildren. Keaton Cooper of Hattiesburg, MS, Alex Cooper of Haysville, WA, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Threlkeld and Betty Wilcox; two brother-in-laws, Billy Hurley and Joe Hurley; one sister-in-law, Wanda Lee; his father-in-law, Rudell Hurley; and his mother-in-law, Annabell Hurley.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1:00pm with the Rev. Michael Cruce and Justin Mason officiating. Burial will follow at Birdsville Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Lindsey Funeral Home.
