William Myre

William ‘Tommy’ Myre, 72, of Paducah, died 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2009 at Western Baptist Hospital. He was a construction worker, member of Labor Union Local 1214, lifetime member of the V.F.W., member of the Freemasons, and of the Baptist Faith.

Mr. Myre is survived by his wife, Patricia Myre of Paducah; daughter, Lisa Ann Joyce (David) of Paducah; son, Randall Thomas Myre (Jenny) of Paducah; brothers: Edwin P. Myre of Paducah, James H. Myre of Paducah, and Donald B. Myre of Murray; grandchildren: Brad Martin, Amanda Waxman, Matthew Myre, Michael Myre, Cameron Myre, and Carly Myre.

He was predeceased by his parents, Charlie Thomas Myre and Willie Mae Rickman-Myre; and brothers Virgil H. Myre, Eugene V. Myre, and Gaylon V. Myre.

Services will take place at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2009 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Paducah. Rev. Topper Council will officiate the services. Interment will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah.

Visitation will take place from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Lindsey Funeral Home.
