William O'Brien

William “Bill” O’Brien Sr., 80, of Paducah died on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Baptist Health Paducah.

Mr. O’Brien was a retired truck driver from Morehouse Cartage, CDL Instructor for Professional Truck Driving School, and a CDL tester for KY State Police.

Surviving is his wife, Barbara O’Brien of Paducah; four daughters, Debbie Wilke of Chicago, IL, Julie Schmitt of Chicago, IL, Pam Johnson of Albany, NY, Kim Gills of Mesa, AZ; three sons, Bill O’Brien Jr. of Chicago, IL, Jon O’Brien of Chicago, IL, Billy Meadows of Kevil, KY; eleven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John H. O’Brien and Alene O’Brien; and one sister.

Memorial service will be at 7:00pm on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Stan Reid officiating.

Friends may call from 5:00pm to service hour on Friday at the funeral home.
