Curtis Ray, 84, of Ledbetter died Wednesday at Western Baptist Hospital.
Mr. Ray was a retired mechanic with SKW, a member of the United Auto Workers, a member of Southland Baptist Temple and a Medic with the US Army during WWII.
Surviving are his wife, Rothie L. Ray; two sons, Michael Ray and Robin Ray of Ledbetter; five daughters, Rita Ramage of Burna, Pat Dycus of Wytheville, VA, Carol Synder of Paducah, Belinda Libby of Paducah, Kim Ray of Bloomington, IN; two brothers, W.E. Ray of Gallatin, TN and Dee Ray of Waynesboro, TN; one sister, Blondell Lee of Columbia, TN; fifteen grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, W. Earl and Genita Ray; two wives, Ruth Elizabeth Ray and Louise Allen Ray; two daughters, Gayle Nelson and Barbara Griffin; and one brother.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Roth Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Ledbetter.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday.
