William Martin Rose, 92, of Reidland died on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Mr. Rose was a veteran of the US Army serving in WWII in France and Germany, a retired employee of Shell Oil Company, working in Paducah and Louisville, and an avid and dedicated UK Wildcats and St. Louis Cardinal Fan.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Crystal Viniard Rose; three daughters, Martha Ramage-Collins (Ray) and Jean Perry of Paducah, and Sue Payton (Roy) of Joshua, TX; six grandchildren, Matt (Tracy) Ramage of Paducah, Todd (Judy) Ramage of Plano, TX, Ellen Wilson of Cleburne, TX, and Anna Parker of Midlothian, TX; Scott (Alicia) Perry of Alabaster, AL, and Lee (Tiffany) Perry of Allen, TX; seven great-grandchildren, Ramsey Ramage of Paducah, Maegan Wilson of Cartersville, GA, Andie Parker of Midlothian, TX, Erynn Perry of Alabaster, AL, and Lauren, Emily, and Jackson Perry of Allen, TX.
He was preceded in death by a sister and a brother. His parents were William Walter and Annie Martin Rose.
He was of the Baptist faith. A private service will be held at a later date.
