Winton Gene England, Sr., 78 of Gilbertsville passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 2:30 PM at his residence. Services will be on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at 9:00 AM at the Lindsey Funeral Home in Paducah. Fr. Brian Roby will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Mr. England was of the Methodist faith, He attended St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, He was retired from the Tire Industry, He served in the Army National Guard. He was also an avid UK fan and enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his wife; Molliann Pawley England of Gilbertsville, Sons; Winton (Dana) England of Lone Oak and Stewart Pawley of Akron, Ohio, Daughters; Anita (Larry) Reeves of Hickory, KY, Lisa (Mike) Crawford of Hopkinsville, KY and Courtenay (Aaron) Arant of Paducah. Grandchildren; Shannon (Pattie) Crawford, Jennifer (Brian) Stuckert, Erin (Andrew) Phelps, Matthew (Emily) England, Nichole England Hall and Grace Elizabeth England, Great-Grandchildren; Brittney Catherine Stuckert, Phoebe Grace Crawford, Chloe Faith Crawford, Allie Ann Phelps and Lucian Matthew England.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Homer Owen England and Mary Hazel Hamilton England.
Friends may call on Monday, January 19, 2009 from 4:00 to 5:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Prayers will be from 5:00 to 6:00 PM. at Lindsey Funeral Home.
