W.T. Green

WT Green, 90, of Salem KY, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Methodist Medical Center Oak Ridge, TN.

Mr. Green served in the Korean War while in the United States Navy. He worked as a tool and die maker most of his career. He was the owner of Green’s Valley Christmas Tree Farm for many years and a member of the Midwest Christmas Tree Association. He was a member of the American Legion.

Surviving is his son, Bill Green and wife Gwen of Clinton, TN; two granddaughters Vanessa Archer and Jeff McCabe and Rachel Goins and husband Derek; two great-grandsons, Christian Archer and wife Ashley and Zachary Archer; and four great-great grandchildren, Presley, Anna, Clay, and Brian.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years Betty Green.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday April 1st, 2023 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are asked to meet directly at the cemetery.

Friends may visit the family from 9:00am to service hour in the chapel at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
