Zora (Pugh) Davis

Zora “Zoe” Davis, a faithful Christian peacefully passed in her sleep on December 10, 2022 at her home exactly where she wanted to be in her final time here on Earth.

While those of us left behind will miss her dearly there was certainly a time of rejoicing in Heaven upon her arrival where we know she was greeted by her husband of 46 years, her beautiful daughter and other family members.  Zoe loved two things in life more that anything else and those two things were God and her family.

Zoe is survived by four children whom she loved whole heartedly, Dalenia Swinford (late Steve) of Paducah, Jerry Davis (Kathy) of Paducah,  Connie Kennedy (late Jimmy) of Ledbetter and Tammy Reeder (Steve) of Eustis, FL.  Also surviving is her beloved son-in- law, Terry Wayne Davidson of Edgewater, FL.  Surviving siblings are Mary Pugh of Marion and Donald Pugh of Marion.    She also leaves behind 9 Grandchildren (Stephen, Timmy, Corey, BJ, Jennifer, Jessie, Ashley, Travis and Sally), 17 Great Grandchildren, 2 Bonus Great Grandchildren, 4 Great Great Grandchildren and 1 Bonus Great Great Grandchild who will always cherish the memories of their Mammaw.  She thought the world of her extended family of Davis in-laws, nieces, nephews and close friends that she considered family.

She was born to Virgil and Agnus Pugh on October 15 ^th , 1935 who preceded her in death.  Also preceding her was her loving husband Darold Dean Davis, adored daughter Teri Ann Davidson, 2 deeply loved son-in-laws (Steve and Jimmy), 5 sisters and 3 brothers.

The family asks that you join them to remember Zoe at the Funeral service to be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 15th, 2022 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Paducah with Bro. Ron Blair officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the service time of 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 15th, 2022 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Paducah.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to: St Jude Children’s Hospital in her name.
